Well It´s not as good as the one I started yesterday that I erased, but here it is. This is illustrations of my son his first five years. He was born 15 weeks premature. He´s amazing!

I made this great pic of my oldest kids five first years and accidently erased it just fifteen minutes before I had to post this. I´m so sorry for this one! Now I´m very annoyed! Do you want me to make a new one tomorrow? Anyone wanna see my idea that I messed up? So this one is made in about 30 seconds.

I had noooo time today, been shopping B-day gifts for my big boy and after that school work.

This is my sister. Except my kids, she´s everything to me. I can´t compare what I feel for her to anything else than the highest form of love.

Today, between meetings at kids daycare and school work I experimented a little. So today you get two hand drawn pics. The first is me praticing dogs :-) I will make twenty dogs just to practise. These are two of them, but only one is finnished.

The next one is random marks of water colour and then I looked for something in the pic emerging and here´s a critter.

Theese two diffrent kind od ideas for making something comes from a book called "Drawing lab" By Carla Sonheim.

Well, now I´m off to dance school with Vince, my three year old.

So here is a handrawn pic and I´ve used ink, promarkers and watercolours.

I didn´t have time to draw by hand today. I used the day to visit the Formex fair in Stockholm. It´s an interior design/design fair. After that I played with the kiddies and after that school work. I´m surprised I even manage to make one each day. But now I´m just gonna relax :-)

Hahaha! Well this is for certain not my proudest moment. This is this weeks llustration Friday, the topic is Dusty. I feel a need to make something by hand tomorrow. I have a cold so I´m not much for putting in a lot of time drawing now, but I think it´s fun anyway, making something every day. My two boys loved it so I´m happy with that. "It´s a fast, fast car! It poops! Look it´s in such a hurry!" He´s three :-)

Today I played around a bit with the same base, I just made a square and then used the eraser to get the white lines and then I live painted it and added some things to each picture to get six diffrent versions from the same original. So here you go six from one. Hahaha this was fun.

Today I´ve though of finnish culture, or the backside of finnish culture.

Well I thought I´s do a drawing by hand of a friend, but I just screwd it up so I made one by hand + digitalized. And then I also did one with my middle finger :-)

I have a BAD case of migraine today. But I did this, I really want to make something even if I´m not feeling well.

Done for today! I love this making something 365 days project, it really has my mind working on new ideas.

Today it seems my Lap Top really died :-( I had to restart it several times so I could finnish this piece. Either it´s telling me to draw more by hand or it´s just bored with me. This is my first illustration made for Illustration Friday, the theme this week is Chicken.

Borrowed my kids pens to do this, while cooking, somedays I just have to little time.

I saw this teenage boy today when I was waiting for the bus. He had a enormous uni brow.

I actually thought he looked great, because you could see that he was proud of it :-) So today let´s celabrate people that are UNIque!

I made this by hand, then I coloured it in Illustrator but I don´t like it. To tired to colour it by hand at this moment but I´m going to, I need more movement. But I see YOU! :-)

The Longneck Family picture.

I´m a bit annoyed that it looks so much diffrent from the original. The colours are a bit off. Crappy scanner or do I need to change settings, I don´t have a clue? Well it´s fun drawing by hand and colouring with pro markers, but I´m not happy with the scan.

Today I miss summer in Finland.

I´m trying diffrent styles. Trying to make a picture that isn´t full of doodle lines :-) I kinda like doodling.

I´m so frustrated, my lap top just died. It´s so typical because yesterday I said to myself "I have to make a back up tomorrow!" Well, todays picture I made at work. I was suppose to scan it and work on it, but now I had to take a picture of the picture to get it published in the blog. So sorry for the lousy quality.

Today at work I had a Marker Pen disaster. While trying to mark my new lunch box the pen exploded. I had black fast drying permanent ink ALL over the place. But as we say in Swedish "Ur allt ont kommer något gott!" I guess that would be almost the same as "Take the good with the bad"? Well I used some of the spilled ink and brought it home. I scanned it and played around for a while and voilá, todays piece was born.

Well today was much harder because I´ve had so little time to sit down and focus. Mother-in-law visiting, work, serious meeting and so on. It took ages to get my oldest to fall asleep. About 23.10 he gave up. Before that he said:
- I wanna be a polar bear as Björk mommy! He loves her video Hunter. So that´s what I did, I made him as a polar bear :-)

My first post

Hi everyone. This is the first day of a new year. I told myself that this year I´m really going to try to start loving my art. It´s dear to me as if it was one of my kids. I try too hard to be a certain way when I draw. This year I´ll try not to be. This year I´ll just draw, even if it´s only a line. I will draw that line. And I better love it! :-) But I will also continue to take photos. I love photography! So welcome to my blog.
