A long, long time ago when I lived at boarding school I used to draw a cartoon that I posted on our bathroom door.  It was called and now I rename the caracters to english. "Bart Baton and his friends, Willy De Weiner and Mick Microdique." 

Here he is about twelve years later.

This is my illustration of how I feel today. It´s a reminder to myself that I´m human, I´m not perfect, I can not climb every mountain, I can not help all souls in need. I have to take a mental break, I need to hug my kids and remember that they are who are most important!

After a looooong  week of intense working I now got my kids with me. Tomorrow we´re travelling to Vimmeby, were Astrid Lindgren author of Pippi Longstocking, was born. Were going to her fantasy world. I hope I get my illustration published in time. Bye!

I´m working on illustrations for a friends webpage. I SO wish I had more time to focus, cus I really like to do this. For the first time it feels like its me, Mirre. I just hope she likes it :-) if not I wont be sad because I really do.

It´s been long since I made something for illustration friday and this weeks topic was Shadows. I did´nt get a feeling for what I should do. So I just made something and when I looked at this guy I realized: Here he is! This is the leader of the pack :-) Just like in Grease except he´s in Shadows.

I have this favourite picture of my mom, it´s in b/w. I know the dress is pinkish/apricotish since she gave it to me when I was a kid. My mom was crazy beautiful when she was young, I did´nt get her looks :-) I love my mom even though she´s "special" :-)
